5. Installation and Maintenance Points
Installation
- Insert the card into a backplane slot compliant with the VME-64 standard, ensuring the 卡扣 (clips) on the back of the card are securely fastened.
- Check that the power supply meets the specifications (+5 V, +12 V) and confirm the normal power distribution of the backplane.
- Set the corresponding input range and gain via jumpers or software according to the on-site sensor voltage range.
Wiring
- Use screw terminals or pin terminals to connect sensor signals, paying attention to the polarity (for single-ended) or positive-negative pairs (for differential).
- For differential inputs, ensure the signal lines are symmetrical and well-shielded to reduce noise.
Debugging
- After power-on, check whether the VME-bus interrupt vector is correctly mapped.
