    5. Installation and Maintenance Points

    Installation

    1. Insert the card into a backplane slot compliant with the VME-64 standard, ensuring the 卡扣 (clips) on the back of the card are securely fastened.
    2. Check that the power supply meets the specifications (+5 V, +12 V) and confirm the normal power distribution of the backplane.
    3. Set the corresponding input range and gain via jumpers or software according to the on-site sensor voltage range.

    Wiring

    1. Use screw terminals or pin terminals to connect sensor signals, paying attention to the polarity (for single-ended) or positive-negative pairs (for differential).
    2. For differential inputs, ensure the signal lines are symmetrical and well-shielded to reduce noise.

    Debugging

    1. After power-on, check whether the VME-bus interrupt vector is correctly mapped.
    2. Read the registers through the host computer software to verify that the sampling value of each channel is within the expected range.

    Daily Maintenance

    1. Regularly check the tightness of the terminal block to prevent signal distortion caused by loosening.
    2. Remove dust from the surface of the card and keep the heat sink well-ventilated.
    3. In case of abnormal interrupts or sampling errors, first check the power supply, jumper configuration, and integrity of the signal lines, then consider replacing the A/D chip or the entire card.
