6. Key Points for Installation and Maintenance

Installation

1. Insert the SLS1508 into the odd-numbered slots (1, 3, 5, 7) of the 8-wide carrier; use 4 slots for redundant peer slots.
2. Fix it using a base or rail to ensure vibration resistance and maintain heat dissipation channels.
3. Connect the 24 V DC power supply, check the polarity, and then power on the device.

Wiring

1. Select I/O modules as needed and wire using screw terminals or crimp terminals.
