Overview
DEGO-II is the second-generation electronic governor system designed by ABB (formerly ASEA Brown Boveri) for marine diesel engines. As a member of the DEGO series governors, it adopts a full electronic control architecture to accurately control the speed and load of marine diesel main engines. As an early digital governor system, it has been gradually replaced by DEGO III and DEGO IV, but many ships still use it or are undergoing technical modifications.
